Carey was 5'10 inches tall before she stepped up to the leading model. Her popularity among American designer Calvin Klein or Ralph Lauren was very high. In 1979 in 1979, the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists voted the father of her Scientist of The Year. Carey was brought up across the globe due to her father's work. When she was attending an institution called the University of Colorado at part-time and was able to catch the attention of a Ford model Agency representative in New York. She stayed in France briefly, in Paris as well as Bordeaux. She then returned to New York for her college study and further to build her career as a model. While modeling and continued to pursue her studies at a full-time level for a literary major within New York University. As time passed, she was drawn to acting and attended the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York. She began her acting career by playing a minor role in 'Club Paradise" in 1986, starring Robin Williams. In her spare time, she enjoys doing white-water rafting, skiing, windsurfing, and rock climbing.
